Grandpa's 80th Birthday

We had an eightieth birthday party for my Grandpa Blaine tonight. During this party he gave a short speech. In a humorous way he said, "I tell you there are no happy birthdays after 40. You want to hold them down. There are many things that happen to us as we go along and that trials do come our way." He felt he and his wife, Cleone had handled these well. He said he was proud of the accomplishments of his 6 children and grandchildren. He said we must always look ahead, saying, "Shoot high and aim straight even thought you might not get there. You will never get there if you don't try."
