Park City

We drove up to Park City today to see the changing leaves and it did not disappoint.  We went to the outlet mall up there and then drove around main street.  We went to Salt Lake and went to City Creek for dinner.

Valley of Fire

 I painted the canvas, blue, orange, and green.  Then I cut up magazine pages and glued them to the canvas.  I painted over the pieces with acrylic paint.  Then I drew a border around the cactuses with black inc.  I sprayed it with a glossy acrylic sealer to make it shiny.  

Snowbasin

We drove up to Snowbasin ski resort.  The lodge was closed, but the gift shop building was open.

We stayed at the Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone.  

We ate dinner at The Gusher and Firehole BBQ. 

We went shopping a couple of times at all the stores.

Creek Street

This painting is based off of Creek Street in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Earthquake

This morning, we had an 5.7 Earthquake in Utah.  I was asleep and I felt my bed rocking and heard a large boom.  The bed was rocking like I was asleep on the cruise ship, being tossed upon the waves.  My cat, Daisy was in the hall, meowing, so I picked her up and held her in the door frame until it stopped rocking.

We had two big aftershocks. 

I made an Emergency box, just in case.
