Cactus and Tropicals
We went to my cousin's wedding reception at Cactus and Tropicals in Salt Lake City. It was a very pretty reception center.

San Diego
On Sunday July 13th, we drove to Las Vegas and stayed at the Orleans Hotel on the eighth floor. I read the book, Art of Fielding. We ate dinner at Metro Pizza. We drove down the strip.
On Monday, we drove to San Diego and stayed at Motel 6 in Hotel Circle. We stopped in Barstow for Lunch. I read the book, Age of Miracles. We ate dinner at El Torito and went to Walmart to get groceries.
On Tuesday, Dad went to his tax seminar. Mom and I went shopping in Mission Valley. We went to the Fashion Valley Mall. We ate lunch at the Boudin Bakery. We all ate dinner at Phil's Barbecue and I got the El Toro sandwich, which I saw on the Food Network. We went to the Seaport Village.
On Wednesday, Dad went to his tax seminar. Mom and I went to Sea World. We went through the shops before the shows started. I bought some pins. We went to the Underwater viewing and saw 4 orcas. We saw the One Ocean show, which has Shamu. We went to the Blue Horizons show, which has dolphins and acrobatics. We went through the Turtle reef and Penguin encounter. We saw the Pets Rule, which has dogs, cats, pigs, and birds. A wheel broke on Mom's wheelchair while were headed in to see the Sea Lions and one of the staff members brought us a replacement chair. Mom and I shared a sugar cookie at the Coral Cafe. We had to go back to the rental center and pick up our broken one when we left. When we got back to the hotel, a maid spilled water on our feet as her bottle broke while she was getting off the elevator. Dad went with us to the Gaslamp Quarter where we ate dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory. We drove over to the Maritime museum and walked on the boardwalk.
On Thursday, Dad went to his tax seminar. Mom and I watched the movie, Gravity. We drove to Seal Beach, via PCH and stayed at the Ayres Hotel. We ate lunch at Panera Bread in Costa Mesa. Dad bought mom some new wheels for her wheelchair. We met Ryan and Sara at Bella Terra and ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in Huntington.
On Friday, We went to the Outlets at Orange. We went to Downtown Disney and got some Beignets and Mint Juleps at the Jazz Kitchen. Mom bought Neve some Mickey and Minnie keychains and she loved holding them. We met Ryan and Sara at Fashion Island and ate dinner at Great Maple in Newport.
On Saturday, We drove past the Queen Mary and went shopping in the Shoreline Village. There was a tailgating party at Huntington Beach for the Oakland Raiders and it caused a lot of traffic. We ate lunch at the Crab Cooker with Ryan and Sara. We ate pizza from Main Street Seal Beach at Ryan's house for dinner.
On Sunday, we drove back to Vegas and stayed at the Stratosphere hotel. We stopped in Barstow for lunch. We stayed on the fourth floor of the Stratosphere and had a view of a cement wall. We went up into the tower and saw people bungee jumping and the rides going over the edge. We ate dinner at Cafe Rio. In the middle of the night, Mom went to roll over in bed and fell down onto the carpet.
On Monday, we drove home. We ate lunch in Nephi. We picked up the cats from boarding.
