I took a picture of some cherry blossoms in California a few years ago.  This week I finished my painting of it as a gift for my Mom, because she loves cherry blossoms.

Easter Garland

I used an ombre yarn to make the garland for April.  

Earthquake

This morning, we had an 5.7 Earthquake in Utah.  I was asleep and I felt my bed rocking and heard a large boom.  The bed was rocking like I was asleep on the cruise ship, being tossed upon the waves.  My cat, Daisy was in the hall, meowing, so I picked her up and held her in the door frame until it stopped rocking.

We had two big aftershocks. 

I made an Emergency box, just in case.

Polar Bear

I bought the wood and Crystal Glitter at Quilted Bear.  Then I painted the bear white, the cheeks and ears pink, and the nose black.  I used wood glue to glue on the face and the paws.  Then I used Mod Podge to stick the glitter to.  I drew the mouth and paw lines on using a black marker.  I dipped the end of the paint brush in black to make the eyes.

I bought this yarn at Hobby Lobby and made a garland for my railing for January, using a loom knitting kit.

Roy

Every year, the city of Roy decorates their fire station, community center, and park with lights for Christmas.  We fortunately were able to see the lights, still on in January.

I bought a kit at Walmart, that came with the cookies, frosting, and sprinkles.  I had to go buy more frosting, because they only covered half of the cookies.
