Seal Beach, California

On Tuesday,   We flew to Long Beach, California and stayed at Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach.  We ate lunch at Panera Bread.  We went to the Manager's reception and had some appetizers.  We went to Walmart to get groceries.  We went over to Ryan and Sara's house and ordered take out from Sunset Pizza and Pasta.  Dad got to meet Neve for the first time.

On Wednesday,  we went to Grower's Direct in Costa Mesa to get some fruit.  We drove back up the PCH to Seal Beach.  We went to Kohl's.  We went to Downtown Disney and got some beignets and a mint julep.   Dad decided to play in the powdered sugar and got the table and his lap really messy.  I bought some pins.  We ate dinner at El Torito in Long Beach.

On Thursday,  We drove up to Los Angeles.  We ate lunch at Subway. When we parked the car, the wheelchair rolled off the sidewalk and into the car.  Good thing Mom wasn't in it yet.  We walked around Graumann's Chinese theater and Hollywood and Highland.  The star I saw the most people taking pictures with was Marilyn Monroe's.   We saw them setting up barricades in front of Jimmy Kimmel's theater, getting ready to film his show.    We ate dinner at the Crab Cooker in Balboa.

On Friday, Ryan had a Birthday.  I made a card for him and got him some of his favorite candies and some DVDs.  We went to the Long Beach Towne Center and went shopping.  I bought some books at Barnes and Noble and shirts at Old Navy.  We went to Bella Terra to get Ryan a jacket from REI.  They didn't have the jacket in his size, so Dad got him a gift card.  We ate lunch at Mimi's Cafe in Newport.  We got Ryan some balloons, butter pecan ice cream, a party hat and whistles for his birthday.  We ate dinner at Mama D's in Balboa and hand the waiters sing happy birthday to him.  I had the fettucini alfredo.  

On Saturday, We went to Disneyland. It was packed!  We went on Captain EO and the Storybook Canal Ride.  We met up with Ryan and Sara.  It was Neve's first trip to Disneyland.  We stopped at the Lemonade stand and Mom and I tried their frozen apple juice drink.  We went on the Haunted Mansion and the Mark Twain riverboat.  I was wearing a black and white striped shirt and some guy told me I looked like a prisoner.  Mom and I watched Neve while everyone else went on Big Thunder Mountain.  I went and got some mint juleps from the Mint Julep Bar for us while we waited.  We got clam chowder for lunch at the Royal Street Veranda.  We went on the Jungle cruise.  I bought some pins in Tomorrowland.  We got some Popsicles.  We went on Astro Blasters with Neve, while Mom watched the stroller.  We rode the train all around the park.  Mom bought some antenna toppers and a cute onesies, t-shirt, and pajamas for Neve.    

Today, we went and walked on the Newport Beach Pier.  We went and checked out of our hotel.  We went and walked around main street in Seal Beach and walked on the pier.  Mom bought some earring to match the necklace she bought on the last trip.  In the afternoon, we flew home.

Las Vegas, Nevada

On Monday, we took the new trailer down to Las Vegas and stayed at the Las Vegas RV Resort.  Mom got sick in the car and threw up twice.  We ate lunch at Wendy's in Beaver.  When we got to The RV Resort, we stayed in spot 299.  We went to Walgreens and CVS.  We ate dinner at Long John Silver's.

On Tuesday,  we went to a medical supply store and got mom a wheelchair, since Dad forgot it.  We went to walmart and got her a cup holder for it.  I read Pieces of My Heart by Robert J Wagner and the Program by Susanne Young.  We went to the Premium Outlets South and got a Pretzel at Auntie Anne's.  We went to Sam's Town and ate dinner at the Firelight Buffet.  

On Wednesday, Dad made us french toast for breakfast.  We parked our truck at Treasure Island and walked over to the Mirage.  Dad and Mom got some yogurt.  We went into the Kardashian Khaos store.  We walked across the street to the Venetian and walked around the Grand Canal shoppes.  We walked to the Palazzo and walked around their shops.  We went to Buca Di Beppo for dinner.  I got Fettucini and Mom and Dad shared a margherita pizza.  I read the book, Invisibility by Andrea Cremer & David Levithan.

On Thursday, We went to the Luxor and walked over to Mandalay Bay.  We ate lunch in the food court at the Luxor.  We went to the Deseret Industries near the RV Resort and I bought some books.  We drove down the strip.  We got to see the Bellagio show and a couple getting married under the Welcome to Vegas sign.  We ate dinner at Dickey's BBQ.  

On Friday,  we went to the Boulevard Mall and I bought a chevron skirt at Sears.  We ate lunch at Firehouse Subs.  We went to the Galleria mall ate dinner at Chevy's Fresh Mex.  We drove down the strip one last time.

Westminster, California

On Wednesday, Mom and I flew into Long Beach Airport.  We sat next to this lady with a chihauhau on her lap and the dog didn't even bark once.  We ate lunch at El Torito in Long Beach.  We stayed at the Best Western Palm Garden Inn in Westminster.  We went over to Ryan and Sara's house.  We got to meet my niece, Neve for the first time.  She is 5 weeks old.  We ate dinner at Roman Cucina.  Neve let Mom hold her for about 3 hours, while she slept.  We had the worst time trying to get back to the hotel, with freeway closures.  We went to the grocery store before getting back to hotel at 1 am.  

We brought Neve a stuffed white rabbit, toys, and clothes for Easter.  I got her a white onesie with a coral skirt and a grey jacket.  Mom got her a white, blue, and green dress, with blue jeans and some toys.

On Thursday,We went to Bella Terra. We got some clothes from Kohl's and some books from Barnes and Noble.  We went to 5 Points Plaza.  We went  into Old Navy, Charming Charlie and Trader Joe's.  We ate lunch at Panera Bread.  We went to Ryan and Sara's house and ate dinner at Sancho's Tacos in Huntington.

On Friday, they had Keith's funeral.  Since Mom and I were out of town, Dad had to go and offer our condolences.  Mom and I went to Grower's Direct to get some fruit and veggies.  We went to Downtown Disney, ate lunch at the Rainforest cafe, and walked around the Disneyland Hotel courtyard.  We got some peanut butter fudge from Marcelline's bakery and some beignets from the Jazz Kitchen Express.  

Mom and I went to Dollar Tree to get some Balloons.  We all wrote messages on the them and let them float away on Sunset Beach for Uncle Keith.  

On Saturday,  I finished reading the book, Starters by Lissa Price.  We went to Target and got a book for Neve and some dvds for Ryan and Sara.  We ate lunch at the Crab Cooker.  We went to the Carter's store at Bella Terra and Mom bought some clothes and shoes for Neve.  We went to Rita's Italian ice and I got some cherry ice with orange cream custard.  
We got a pizza at Sunset Pizza and Pasta and we watched the movie, Willow with Ryan and Sara.

On Sunday.  Mom and I walked down Main street at Seal Beach and walked on the pier.  We went to the shops at Rossmoor and ate lunch at Panera Bread.  We could see a Carnival ship docked in Long Beach and sail away to Catalina from Ryan and Sara's house.  Sara made us a wonderful dinner and cookies for dessert.  We watched the movie, The Addams Family.

On Monday, We checked out of our hotel and went to Walmart.  We went to the Lakewood mall before heading to the airport.  We ate lunch at the Long Beach Burger Bar at the airport.    Dad picked us up from the airport and we went to El Matador for dinner.

Trailer

Mom and Dad bought a new trailer and traded in the old one.  We had to move all the stuff out of the old one and put into bins.   I had to line the shelves in the new one and we had to put everything back in the new one.
