Carnival Breeze

On Thursday, we flew to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a layover in Las Vegas.  We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Miramar.  We ate dinner at Shorty's BBQ.

Friday was my birthday. We drove down to Key West.  We stopped in Key Largo to go to Shell World.  We found a town called Layton.  We parked by Mallory Square and walked up and down Duval Street.  We ate lobster rolls at the Conch shack for dinner.  We had key lime pie at the Key Lime Republic.  We drove past Hemingway's house and the southernmost point.

On Saturday, we embarked on the Carnival Breeze in Miami.  This was our second trip on this ship.  We previously sailed on the Breeze over Halloween 2014.  We were in cabin 8389, and last time were in 7927.   I decorated our door after the muster drill.  We watched the sail away from Miami.  We had a table to ourselves in the dining room, right next to the back window.  For dinner, I had croqueta, empanada, strawberry bisque, grilled mahi mahi, and warm fig and date pudding.  We played Name that Tune with Orlando and I won a trophy for my perfect score.  Mom also got a trophy, for letting Orlando spin her wheelchair around the dance floor.

Sunday was a day at sea.  We went and watched the morning show with Matt and Orlando.   We went to the Fun Ashore and shopping talks.  We ate lunch at Cucina Del Capitano.  I had penne alfredo with chicken, a caesar salad, and bread.   It was the first formal night.  For dinner, I had fried Oysters, Prime Rib, Chocolate Melting cake.  The waiters danced to Celebration by Kool and the Gang.  We watched the band play Motown songs.  The show was Motor City.  We played Name that Motown Song with Matt.

Monday was a day at sea.  We went and watched the morning show with Matt and Orlando.  We walked around the shops.  We saw the Dr. Seuss Parade.   I went and played trivia while Mom and Dad went to the diamond seminar.  It was windy and raining.  We ate lunch at the Southern Comfort station.  We went to the Taste bar and it was appetizers from the Steakhouse.   For dinner, I had a greek salad, baked ziti, and a passion fruit flan.  We went to the comedy show, which was Jaylyn Bishop.

Tuesday, we docked in St. Maarten.  We were in port with Disney Fantasy, Emerald Princess, and Adventure of the Seas.  We took a island tour to Marigot.    For dinner,  I had Canneloni,  Southern fried chicken, and a S'MORES Parfait.  We watched Superstar Karaoke.  We played Movie Kiss Trivia and I got my second Ship trophy for getting 39 out of 40!  We watched Battle of the Sexes.

Wednesday, we docked in Antigua.  We were in port with Mein Schiff 3 and Adonia.   Mom and I went shopping in St. John while Dad went on a beach/ off roading tour.  We ate lunch at Pizza Pirate.  We watched the sail away.  For dinner, I had beef skewers, lobster bisque, beef wellington, bitter and blanc cake, and double broiled pineapple.  The show was 88 Keys and was the music of piano rock and roll.

Thursday, we docked in St. Thomas.  We were the only ship there that day.  We took a taxi downtown to Charlotte Amalie to shop.  We decided to walk back to the ship.  Unfortunately, one of the wheels on mom's wheelchair broke and Dad had to push her the way back on just the two back wheels.  The ship let us use one of their chairs for the rest of the cruise.  We watched the ship sail away from St. Thomas.  For dinner, I had meatballs, short ribs, and pot de creme with buttered popcorn.  We watched Superstar Karaoke Live and the Comedy Magic Show.

Friday was a day at sea.   It was the second formal night.  We went to the shops and got some souvenir t-shirts.  We watched Towel animal Theater and went to the future cruise talk.  We had Fat Jimmy's BBQ for lunch.  We went to Movie Quote trivia.  It was our second formal night.  For dinner, I had clam chowder, grilled jumbo shrimp, and key lime mouse. The comedian was Roman.  The taste bar was appetizers from Red Frog Pub.  We watched the band play 80's songs.  We played guess that song with Matt, our cruise director.

Saturday, We ate breakfast in the dining room.  We went and did three rounds of trivia.  We ate lunch at Guy's Burger Joint.  We docked in Nassau at noon.  We were in port with Carnival Ecstacy, Disney Fantasy, and Carnival Fascination.  Dad went snorkeling and Mom and I just stayed on the ship.  For dinner, I had crab soup, mango cream, ravioli, and banana white chocolate bread pudding.  The waiters performed Gangnam Style and Leavin' on a Jet Plane.  The taste bar was mexican food.  We went and listened to the band, who sang 90's songs.  The comedian was Don Grey.  We went to the shops after the comedy show.

Lauderdale.  Then we ate at Dough Boys Pizzeria for dinner.

Today, we flew home with a layover in Denver.
