Genealogy, TV, and Watermelon

On Monday, I started scanning in pedigree charts for the Sandbergs into my computer. I found some pictures of birthday parties and anniversaries and glued them onto paper and put them in Mom's book.

On Tuesday, I finished scanning the pedigree charts for the Sandbergs and emailed them to my relatives who wanted copies. Mom and I went to the mall. I bought some CDs and a DVD at FYE. Mom bought some capris at JC Penney's and she bought a stuffed monkey and some orange rolls from the Lion House at Deseret Book. We went to Arctic Circle for dinner. I watched the movie, Poltergeist.

On Wednesday, our visiting teachers came over and visited us in the morning. I baked some orange muffins. We went to the Clearfield Farmer's Market and got a watermelon, but it was mushy so we threw it a way. I watched the movie, Poltergeist II.

On Thursday, I started scanning in the Thatcher genealogy. Mom and I went to the Days farm and got corn and watermelon. We ran into our old neighbor Neil when we got there. The watermelon was mushy, so Dad went and got one from Sam's Club that was good. I put all the Thatcher pedigree charts into Mom's book. I watched the movie, Poltergeist III.

On Friday, we went to the ward barbecue at our chapel's pavilion. Dad had to help cook the hamburgers and hot dogs and pass them out. I made a pineapple lemon jell-o salad for the party. We sat with one of our neighbor families. When we got home, I finished reading At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks.

On Saturday, I scanned in more genealogy of the Thatchers and looked up some names on Family Search for the pedigree charts. We had Direct TV come and install their dish and DVR in the early evening. After it was done, we went to the Burger Bar in Roy for a late dinner.

On Sunday, I decorated the house for Halloween. We watched the movie, Rio before dinner. I finished reading the book, The History of Love by Nicola Krauss.

Carpet and Leaf Crafts

On Monday, Mom and I went and checked out the renovated Seagull Book in Layton. We went to the mall and had lunch. Mom and I also went to K-Mart to look at their Halloween decorations. I watched the movie The Next Three Days.

On Tuesday, a company came and installed carpet in the bedroom and hallway of the basement. It took about 5 hours. I painted a masonite panel with blue, green, and purple. Then I glued fake leaves and buttons on it. Then I took it outside and glitter sprayed the panel.

On Wednesday, I loaded my digital photos I have taken this year onto discs. Mom and I went to the Newgate Mall in Riverdale. We went into Sears to see the Kardashian Kollection. It was mostly black clothes, with leopard print, lace, leather, and zippers. Mom bumped her scooter in the wall of a jewelry store and sliced her pinky finger. We looked at the Halloween crafts at Quilted Bear. We went to Wendy's for dinner when Dad got home. We watched the Big Brother season finale.

On Thursday, I made peanut butter fingers. Dad went and volunteered at the Ogden Rescue Mission and fed the homeless.

On Friday, Mom and I went to the D.I. She bought some crafts and I bought some books. I finished reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I thought the book was amazing and I can't wait to see the movie. Before I went to bed, I watched the movie, Thor.

On Saturday, Dad went and cleaned the church. I went down to the basement and went through some more book boxes and put my summer block letters away since fall begins next week. I brought some of the books up to my room and put some in my room and mom's room. I made Grandma Norma's french dressing for Dad, as he has craving it. We ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Riverdale. I put some genealogical stories, I found with my grandmother's yearbooks, into a book for my mom and dad.

Today, I repainted the pilgrim Mom bought at the D.I. The pilgrim had some chips in the brown paint so I repainted the brown. I reorganized my book shelves in my closet and bookshelf after I went and found another box of books in the basement. I watched the movie, The Green Hornet. I finished reading the book, Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris. We watched the Emmy awards.
