On Tuesday, Mom and I went to the D.I. She bought some crafts, toys, a book she used to own but someone didn't return, and found a scrapbook of Christmas stories and sheet music. I got a couple of books as well. Then we went to Michael's so Mom could get some supplies to make jewelry. I watched the movie, Funny Lady, the sequel to Funny Girl.
On Wednesday, I organized all mom's figurines from movies into plastic bags, based on film and genre. Then I put them in tubs to store them in the basement. I read the book, Two Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt. We have been watching Live with Kelly! from Oahu and everyday she has been telling her co-hosts what their Hawaiian names are. I have a bracelet that I bought in Oahu, which says my name is KEKEPANIA, meaning Crown or Garland. Dad is KAWIKA, meaning Beloved, which is funny because Ryan has a roommate named KAWIKA. Ryan is LIANA, meaning Little King. Mom is LUKANA, meaning Merciful Companion. We had a windstorm and it kept moving our chairs on the deck.
On Thursday, Mom made her Mom's Potato salad, since we had a lot of eggs. We went and tried Arctic Circle's Shrimp & Fries basket, and they were delicious.
On Friday, I went to the Library to get some books and then we went to get groceries at Wal-Mart. Mom was riding in her scooter and I was pushing the cart. I went to point out something to Mom behind us, and I accidentally smacked her in the head with my hand. I watched the movie, Anonymous.
On Saturday, Dad woke up early and went to the gym, taking the truck. When he was done, the truck wouldn't start, so he had the guy who worked there help him get it started. We went to Sizzler for dinner and then walked around Big Lots and Macey's. I read the book, Rumors of War by Dean Hughes.
On Sunday, We watched the Oscars. Ryan has been working with Wes Anderson for Hyundai's Bluelink commercial and that commercial debuted during the telecast.
