On August 20th, we went and at the Chuck-A-Rama in Ogden with Grandpa, then we went over to his house for a while.
On August 21st, we went and heard Ryan give a talk in the Country Oaks Ward at the Stake center on Sunday. He talked about his mission.
On Monday, Mom, Dad, and I headed to Las Vegas. We went to the Aladdin shops and the Hard Rock Cafe. On Tuesday, we dropped Dad off at the Rio for his conference. Mom and I went shopping. After we picked up Dad, we went to the Factory outlet mall. Then we went and ate a Mexican restaurant called Que Pasa and drove around the strip.
On Wednesday, Mom and I went to the Fashion Show Mall, Treasure Island, and then back over to the hotel. We are staying at the Venetian. When Dad was done with his class, we went and checked out the Wynn Hotel and walked around the Grand Canal Shops. They dragged me to a gross Chinese buffet for dinner.
On Thursday, Mom and I walked around the Grand Canal shops again. We also walked around the shop at the Boulevad mall and ate prime rib at the California Hotel for supper. We walked around the Forum shop at Caesar's Palace. We also drove past the temple.
Today, we checked out of our hotel and drove home. We stopped in Provo to find Ryan's apartment.

Grandma's Funeral
Last night was the viewing at Myer's Mortuary for my Grandma Norma. At noon today, was the funeral. Before the funeral, we went to Grandpa's house to visit with the family. It was was really sad when they closed her coffin. Dad said the family prayer. Ryan was later for the funeral, because he was testing for Primamerica. All of the siblings talked. Before the closing prayer, all of us grandchildren went up on stage and sang "Families Can Be Together Forever."
Then after the benediction, we drove to South Ogden to dedicate the grave. After the dedication, we hat a luncheon at Grandma and Grandpa's church. After we ate, Ryan drove Mom and I home while Dad drove Grandpa home and stayed at his house for a while. Ryan left to go back to Provo.
Even thought it is sad that Grandma is no longer with us, it is comforting to know she is not suffering anymore and is waiting for us to join her on the other side. She had been struggling from health problems for years, such as breast cancer, ulcer, and a bad back.
She was great cook and baker, seamstress, and crafter. She collected bells and angels. She liked to play games such as dominoes and work on crossword and word search puzzles. She always had cookies in her cookie jar and toys in the cupboard whenever we went over there. She liked to make scrapbooks.

My Grandma Norma
My grandmother Norma, passed away this afternoon. My grandpa found her in the bathroom, unconscious. He called us and told us she wasn't talking. My mom called my dad and told him to go over to their house. When Dad got there, they called 911 and the EMTs did CPR and got a heart beat. They took Grandma to the hospital. They figured out she was brain dead and her heart stopped after a couple of hours. She was pronounced dead at 6:28 PM.

Spirit Lake
Mom, Dad, and I went to Spirit Lake in the Uintahs. We stopped in Evanston, Wyoming on our way and on the way back. My aunt Susan and my uncle Cliff went camping with us as well. I finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince while we were there.
