Las Vegas

I registered for Spring Semester, for Anthropology.

On Tuesday, we went to the Golden Corral with Grandma and Grandpa, so Aunt Janet could surprise them with the news that her family has moved back to Utah.

On Wednesday, we drove to Vegas after Dad got off work. We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Tropicana.

On Thursday, most of the stores were closed because of Thanksgiving. We drove around then went to the Stardust buffet and we went to the Forum Shops.

On Friday, we went to Sam's Club and the Boulevard mall. We walked through the Desert Passage shops at the Aladdin. We saw Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace, which had impersonators dressed up as Elton John, Barry White, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Aretha Franklin, and Elvis Presley.

On Saturday, we went to the Fashion Show Mall, that is right on the Strip. Dad bought Mom an Opal ring and necklace for Christmas. We ate dinner at the Palm's coffee shop and went to the Bellagio shops.

On Sunday, when we drove home, it was a blizzard.

This afternoon, I went visiting teaching.

My Birthday

On Tuesday, the electricity went out in all of Ogden. Professor sat there and read out of his book, using a flashlight. My computer class exam was cancelled.  It was election day and we went and voted.

On Thursday, I had my production exam in my computer class.

Mom bought me Gilmore Girls Season 1 on DVD for my birthday. We made a pumpkin cheesecake. Dad and Mom took me to the Red Lobster.  I had to turn in a three page paper on one poem for my poetry class.

Dad had to go to Park City for a work conference for two nights.

We started working on Microsoft Excel in my computer class, learning the different shortcuts on the keyboard to formate and style the text and page setup.
