On May 30th, we went to Ryan's High School Graduation ceremony at the Dee Events Center. After his ceremony, he went to the all night Senior Party.
On May 31st, Ryan had to have his appendix taken out at McKay-Dee hospital. We ate at Jake's Over the Top for dinner while he was having his surgery.
On June 1st, Ryan was released from the hospital.
On June 2nd, we flew to Honolulu, Hawaii, with a layover in San Francisco. Ryan's friend Seth went with us. They rented mopeds to go around Waikiki. We got chocolate pineapple at the Dole Factory and it was delicious. We went to North Shore, Pearl Harbor, and the LDS temple's visitor's center. We went to Germaine's Luau and all our regular shopping places. At the luau, Ryan and Seth were chosen to kiss all the girls who went up on stage and danced the hula. We went to the Aloha Bowl Swap Meet twice. We ate dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory twice. At the airport, Ryan and Seth got into an argument with the shuttle bus driver, because they were mimicking her when she was yelling out, "Shuttle Bus." She came upstairs and started yelling at them. Today, we flew home, with a stop in San Francisco.
On June 23rd, Mom and I went and saw the movie, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. I read the book a couple of months ago and enjoyed both the book and the film.
Today, we went to see the Nauvoo Illinois LDS Temple Dedication via satellite at our stake center. This was the first temple dedication I have seen and it was pretty spiritual.
